Calm Times and Delicates Series
“Calm Times and Delicates” is based on the interaction of man and nature and the resulting change. Calm Times includes landscape scenes from Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Chicago Gardens and Puerto Rico. Some images were taken before, after, or during a storm. Others reflect the quiet and peaceful moments that only nature can offer. The images capture the revitalization process as nature calms down and shows her grace and beauty after a rough outburst. Nature at its best is just like us. At one moment, nature can be exploding with energy and then at the next it can be murmuring a quiet song. By observing, visiting and listening to nature, I have learned the importance of being at peace and regained the ability to relax to better prepare myself for daily life. In short, it has helped me to find my soul and feel whole again.
